Like every Tuesday, here we are again with the latest episode of our most popular series, #TshirtTuesday! Where we feature up-and-coming T-shirt lines and interview the designers behind them.
This time around we bring you Freeman and Jamie who design T-shirts under the name Nigh Clothing. A brand that mixes streetwear and devotion.
I hope you enjoy our newest #TshirtTuesday.
Would you like to be the next brand featured on #TshirtTuesdays? Here is how.
#TshirtTuesday: Nigh Clothing
Tell us about you, what’s your name? Where are you from? What do you do?
Our names are Freeman and Jamie. We are from Memphis and currently serve in the United States Air Force.
What about your brand? What’s its name? What makes it unique?
The name of our brand is Nigh Clothing. “Nigh” means near in old English. Our line is unique because of the message. Our goal is to visually express our faith through art and fashion.
If it were a person, what would he/she be like?
If our brand was a person, it would be King David from the Bible, who had a heart for God and wasn’t afraid to stand up and fight for his beliefs. He was a symbol of God’s love for His people.
Simplicity is key, describe your brand in three words:
Unashamed. Creative. Relevant.
For how long have you been selling T-shirts? Any remarkable story you learnt on the way? Any advice for beginners?
We have been creating and selling clothing for about a year now. We would tell any beginners to pursue their dreams no matter how big they are. It is a lot of work, but it is possible. Most importantly, have patience. Most businesses take time to grow. Stay consistent and do not give up.
Key question, why should people be interested in your brand?
People are interested in our brand because of the hope that we aim to share. Our brand expresses the passion and love that we have for Jesus Christ. Furthermore, Nigh Clothing goes beyond the “norm” in the Christian T-shirt industry. We incorporate more graphical imagery than most of our counterparts.
Before we leave, let’s do a rapid fire round:
Cats or dogs?
PC of Mac?
Football or basketball?
Tea of coffee?
Beach or forrest?
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37
